MID Stakeholder Information

Established in 1999 by the Downtown Seattle Association, the Metropolitan Improvement District (MID) was established to provide cleaning, safety and economic development services within downtown Seattle to create an attractive environment for visitors, businesses and residents. The MID was renewed in 2013 for a 10-year term and is up for renewal again in 2023. Over the years, the scope of services provided has evolved and expanded to meet the changing needs of downtown.

As we engage in the renewal process, we are seeking feedback from MID property owners and managers, workers and residents on the effectiveness of current MID services and to learn about the biggest challenges you see facing downtown.

We ask that you please take the time to thoughtfully complete the survey below to ensure MID services can adapt, improve and continue to best serve our community.

Your responses will be non-attributable and results will only be shared in the aggregate.

You do have the option of including your name and contact information if you would like a DSA/MID staff member to follow-up with you.
