Recommendation for Enrollment |
Introduction and Instructions
The mission of Minnesota Independence College & Community (MICC) is to transform the lives of individuals and families affected by autism spectrum and learning differences. Through MICC College, we adapt, evaluate, and continuously improve our methods, recognizing and valuing each individual’s skills, contributions, and dreams. This is accomplished through a three year residential post-secondary program so our students may achieve sustained independent living, rewarding employment, financial security, personal growth, and responsible citizenship.
Our program is growing, yet we are only able to accept a limited number of freshmen each year. We want to ensure that those we do accept are going to be successful and can thrive within our program. We ask applicants to provide recommendations from professionals who have worked with them within their different life settings, to help us gain a stronger understanding of the applicant, their skills, and experiences.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the attached recommendation. We appreciate your willingness to support our applicant in their application and enrollment process. Please direct questions to:
