1. Club Questionnaire

You are invited to play a part in the development of Mount Isa City Council’s Sport and Recreation Strategy. Funded by a partnership between the State Government and Council, the plan will guide Council’s provision of sport, recreation, health and fitness services and facilities in the City. Council have appointed consultants CPR Group to assist with the development of the strategy.

Below is a link to an online questionnaire for clubs. Your organisation can use this opportunity to make Council aware of your club’s participation in sport and recreation within the City. Please take some time (with the management committee of your organisation) to complete this form (only one per club please). It should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Clubs who complete this questionnaire will go in the draw to win a prize to the value of $750. The winner will receive assistance from CPR Group to apply for a Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant (to be eligible to receive this prize clubs must have a planned project and source their own quotes).

This questionnaire is the first step in the development of the Sport and Recreation Strategy. During the Sign On Expo in February 2018 there will be an opportunity to ask questions and contribute further to the strategy. A representative from CPR Group will also arrange to visit your club in the week following the Expo.

Throughout the consultation phase of the project, CPR Group will also be seeking input from members of the public to ensure that those who are not currently members of clubs can contribute. Watch out for this opportunity early in 2018.
