Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019-2020 BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS to be held at the February 26, 2019 Chapter Education Lunch.

Each year you have an opportunity to help shape the direction, programs, and resource priorities of our organization through the election of our Board of Directors. The Board meets monthly to address financial issues, expansion and growth, programming, and other operational issues for the ALA Arizona Chapter. Each board member serves a one-year term (April 1, 2019 - March 31, 2020), unless otherwise noted.

To assure continuity and smooth transitions, the roles of Secretary, Vice President, President Elect and President are typically served consecutively. Due to the unexpected vacancy of the President Elect position in 2018, all positions are open for nominations.
We appreciate your taking time to participate in this important membership role. Nominations are open until Friday, January 11, 2019. The Nominating Committee will meet in January for the purpose of selecting a slate of officers and directors for recommendation to the membership of the Chapter. 
Eligibility and Qualifications: Candidates for officer in the Chapter must be current members of the Association of Legal Administrators and must have been a member of the Chapter for at least one (1) year at the time of election and must have chaired at least one (1) committee. Candidates for Directors-at-Large positions must have been a member of the Chapter for at least one (1) year at the time of election.
