Introduction

The Wide Bay Burnett Regional Biosecurity Strategy was developed in 2017 by the Wide Bay Burnett Regional Organisation of Councils Invasive Species Advisory Committee (the Committee).

Representing the local government areas of Bundaberg Regional Council, Fraser Coast Regional Council, Gympie Regional Council, North Burnet Regional Council, South Burnett Regional Council and Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council, the Strategy aims to provide a consistent approach to invasive species management across the Wide Bay Burnett region.

After its inaugural year of implementation, the Committee, funded by the Queensland Government as part of the Better Partnerships project, is seeking your feedback for the Strategy’s review in 2019

This electronic survey has been developed to provide a forum for the Wide Bay Burnett community to provide feedback for the Strategy’s review process.

The electronic survey contains 14 multiple choice and short answer questions that will help the Committee to understand your thoughts on invasive animal, weed and tramp ant species management across the Wide Bay Burnett region

When answering the questions, please keep in mind that the Strategy is for the Wide Bay Burnett region as a whole. If you have any local invasive species concerns, or ideas, please contact your relevant local government’s biosecurity team to discuss further.
