Track 2: Managing and Operating Your MES Abstracts submitted under this track would highlight best practices and lessons learned during the operational phase of a project, including managing multi-vendors/multi-modules, on-going monitoring of projects, best practices for transitioning from implementation to operations, as well as organization change management (OCM) considerations. Compliance with State and Federal requirements, including CMS Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule (CMS-9115-F) and CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Rule (CMS-0057-F), T-MSIS, and the addition of modules and/or innovative capabilities to your MES (e.g., Social Determinants of Health Information Exchange, functional assessment tools, alternative payment solutions) would also be topics for this track.
