Question Title

The Commission is working to set out a vision for a national public health system with recommendations for action by June 2022.

By a national public health system, the Commission means the authorities, resources, and structures at all levels to improve health and equity every day and to enhance preparedness for future crises. An effective system will require the federal government to provide leadership to guide the modernization of public health, so that every American, regardless of where they live, is protected.
