Contribute to the State Service Plan - Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism

As Maryland’s State Service Commission, the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism (GOSV) serves you, and we need your input. Our mission is to lead through service and to foster civic engagement throughout Maryland. Each year, we update our State Service Plan to realign our activities with this mission. 

Like other State Service Commissions throughout the nation, the GOSV provides funding and support for AmeriCorps programs. We also support volunteerism and recognize volunteer service on behalf of the Governor. 

The State Service Plan is our roadmap as we provide this leadership, support and recognition. To get it right, we need to hear from you about the needs in your community.
