Overview

Following a 2020 Survey of MD ratepayers regarding recreational needs and priorities, Council directed staff to develop a comprehensive Recreation Master Plan for the MD, in consultation with stakeholders and residents. The Recreation Master Plan is a long-term, strategic document that will provide a shared vision for recreation development, and provide direction to Council and staff regarding recreation decision-making and spending.

As a stakeholder, your input is important in assisting staff to identify the key issues and priority areas that must be addressed within the plan. Please take a few minutes to answer the questions below.

All responses received are confidential, and any results published will maintain anonymity. If you have any questions about the survey or the Recreation Master Plan process, please contact Komiete Tetteh, Municipal Planner at Mackenzie Municipal Services Agency, at (780) 338-3862.
