The Canadian Advocacy Council (CAC) of CFA Societies Canada represents the 12 CFA Institute Member Societies across Canada and over 21,000 Canadian CFA charterholders. The council includes investment professionals across Canada who review regulatory, legislative, and standard setting developments affecting investors, investment professionals, and the capital markets in Canada. Any individual CFA member of a Canadian CFA Society in good standing is eligible for appointment. CAC members’ terms will run from July 1 to June 30 of each year and will be renewable annually for a maximum of seven (7) consecutive years.

The CAC convenes on a monthly basis from July through June via Zoom. At least twice annually, a face-to-face meeting will be convened within Canada.
