Purpose:
The National Programs Fund (NPF) aims to encourage NSBE Jr., Collegiate, Professional Chapters, and Special Interest Groups of the National Society of Black Engineers to implement quality collaborative chapter-based programs while alleviating the chapters of a measure of financial burden.
Guidelines:
NSBE programming entities are given this avenue to strengthen their impact in core programming areas:

- Academic Excellence/Collegiate Initiative
- Engineering Diversity/Technical Excellence
- National Leadership Initiative/Talent Development
- Technical Outreach and Community Help / R.I.S.E.
- Pre-College Initiative
Funds awarded must support the overall success of chapter-based programs in-line with Game Change 2025.
You may not use multiple funds for the same items (i.e., a programming entity cannot simultaneously utilize national, national-professionals, and regional funds for the same program or individual activity).
Applying:
Chapters and SIGs can apply for funds to support a program, individual activity, OR events within a single program during the membership year.
A program entity can only be awarded once. Be strategic! We strongly encourage collaboration AND requesting funds for programs vs. individual events.

Fill out this document (download or copy as a word doc) prior to filling out this form to prevent accidental submissions. Make sure that you review the current guidelines. Before applying, you are required to send a draft with your regional (Chapters), or national programming (SIGs) lead to avoid immediate denial and will prompt for you to resubmit.
Failure to have your application reviewed by your regional counterpart or national programming lead will result in the need for resubmission of your application after the reviewal.
Completing the Process:
The programming entity that applied for the funds MUST complete activities reports for each program activity or a single event for which they received the funds.
Failure to submit an activities report may result in being restricted from receiving future funds.

Application Approval:
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, ideally, we will check all applications on the Second and Last Sunday of each month.
