This survey has been created to measure the community's desire for additional transit services. The County of McHenry is already partnering with 20 municipalities and townships to operate a service called MCRide. This survey is to gauge whether or not MCRide should be expanded into additional areas.
MCRide is a curb-to-curb, dial-a-ride service that requires riders to schedule trips in advance. A MCRide vehicle arrives at the agreed upon time to take the rider to a destination within the service area. Fares are paid in cash at the time of the trip.
