LeadingAge Texas is exploring the development of a managed care network to better leverage the collective strength of our membership with managed care plans and commercial insurers. Developing a managed care network will be a member-driven, strategic initiative to not only help our members navigate the changes with commercial and Medicare Advantage Plans but also to better position our members for the future.

The strength and appeal of the network with commercial payors and managed care plans will grow with the more members that participate in the network. Based upon the success achieved in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa, we have invited the Managed Care Division of Strategic Health Care to present their experiences with developing network with four other LeadingAge affiliates.
