Course Information

NonProfitConnect’s flagship program, BoardConnect is now being offered online for individuals interested in serving as a member of a nonprofit Board of Trustees.  Topics will include board member governance, legal,  fiduciary responsibilities,  and fundraising. We offer this course to professionals interested in serving on a nonprofit board as well as professionals that need a refresher course.   These courses will prepare the participant to fully engage as a member of a nonprofit Board of Trustees.  Participants will then have the option to attend an Online Meet and Greet Nonprofit Fair to facilitate introductions to a variety of area nonprofits. The Meet & Greet Online Fair is an optional event for those participating in the BoardConnect program that would like to be placed with a Mercer County nonprofit. 
Course fee:  $400

 All virtual sessions will run from 7:00pm-8:30pm online via Zoom

October 26: Governance
November 9: Fiduciary Responsibilities
November 16: Fundraising
November 30:  Legal Issues
December 7: Optional Meet & Greet NonProfit Fair
