Call for Nominations
AIHA is issuing a call for nominations for the position of Representative to IOHA. This position serves a three-year term, and will be an integral part of the planning of IOHA 2018: the 11th International Scientific Conference in Washington, DC.
Nominations will be accepted until Friday, November 4, 2016.

Criteria
- AIHA member in good standing
- Familiar with and supportive of AIHA's and IOHA’s mission, vision, and values
- Background in international occupational hygiene
- Dedicated to the IOHA Strategic Goals: 1. Promote occupational hygiene, 2. Improve occupational hygiene capabilities and practice, 3. Effective networking and knowledge management, and 4. Robust governance
- Understanding of strategic thinking and innovation
- A commitment to the time and financial commitment required to serve (ability to travel internationally and cover the costs of two trips per year, locations determined by IOHA BOD)
- Prepared to disclose in writing any potential conflicts of interest
The selection committee consists of the AIHA Officers of the Board. When considering candidates, the committee will also take into consideration prior experience in serving in a leadership/board role or volunteer activities.
