MBP2 Interest Registration

The Modeling Best Practices Benchmarking Project (MBP2) seeks to survey a broad range of modeling practice and share insights among professionals who might not otherwise have the opportunity to gain insight from outside their own communities.

Modeling, simulation and analysis (MS&A) supports a wide range of economic, academic and governmental efforts. Different practitioner communities have agreed on MS&A practices. But there is little interaction among communities. As a result, best practices in one MS&A community may not be familiar to others.

MBP2 is an interview based benchmarking effort conducted by exploring 10 areas. These topics have been developed in consultation with senior practitioners with experience in a wide range of disciplines.

Initial participants were included by invitation only. This registration allows others to seek to be involved in MBP2. Those invited to participate will receive a more complete disclosure of the MBP2 process when they receive the project terms of reference.

Review of the project terms of reference allows invitees to fully understand expectations before a final decision to participate.

In addition to those selected for interviews, a larger number of participants will be invited to respond to a survey.

Registration consists of answering four questions. NOTE - only complete registrations will be considered.
