The Oregon Library Association’s Children’s Services Division (CSD) and Oregon Young Adult Network (OYAN) partner with the Oregon State Library to provide summer reading resources to libraries in Oregon. We value your feedback to help us continue to improve CSLP materials. Your expertise makes a difference!

This year the CSLP summer reading theme was SCIENCE, and the slogans were:

CHILDREN’s program --EVERY HERO HAS A STORY (art by Jarrett Krosoczka)

TEEN program --UNMASK (art by Upstart graphic designers)

ADULT program --ESCAPE THE ORDINARY (art by Upstart graphic designers)

About Oregon and CSLP:
Oregon’s statewide summer reading program is synonymous with the Collaborative Summer Library Program’s (CSLP) annual summer reading program. CSLP is an international collaboration among most states, the District of Columbia, 2 U.S. territories, Cayman Islands and Federated States of Micronesia.

All public, volunteer, and tribal libraries in Oregon are CSLP members. All member libraries receive a CSLP summer reading manual and Upstart’s CSLP summer reading catalog to use to plan and promote their summer reading program. Your library’s CSLP membership fees and summer reading manuals are paid for by the Oregon State Library with LSTA funds.
