Hertford Town Council - Budget 2027/8 - Residents’ Consultation

Hertford Town Council serves the people of Hertford. Working together with the local community, it delivers services across the town.

Currently, the part of your Council Tax that goes to the Town Council costs your home about £2.82 each week. The Town Council wants this cost to provide you with services that offer value for money. Adding, or taking away, services means this part of the Council tax may go up or down, in the future.

Despite uncertainty around the Government’s plans for local government in Hertfordshire, Hertford Town Council is here to stay - continuing to serve and represent you.

Please share what is important to you today, so the Town Council can prepare for the future.
