Survey of Accessibility in Education for Students with Disabilities

This is survey for students with disabilities who attend school from Grade 7 through to a post-secondary setting.

You will find a series of questions related to different aspects of your educational programming as well as areas where you may or may not be experiencing barriers to full participation.

The survey itself may be completed in as short as 5 minutes, but may take longer depending upon what you choose to share with us when you are answering some of the questions.

The survey was developed and is being conducted by Barrier-Free Manitoba and Education Solutions Manitoba to learn more about the barriers people with disabilities face in Manitoba when it comes to their experiences within the education system. It was created in response to the recent call for the development and enforcement of an Accessible Education Standard under landmark Accessibility for Manitobans Act.

We appreciate your feedback as it will inform a larger data collection including experiences and perceptions of both parents and educators spanning Early Childhood Education to Post-Secondary Education.

No specific identifying information will be publicized as a result of this survey and your opinion matters.

Thank you for taking the time to help us better understand the experiences of students with disabilities in Manitoba.
