Conference Overview
You are invited to submit a proposal to be a workshop presenter at the Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement's (MAVA) 3rd Annual Dismantling Inequities Conference held on December 8 and December 9, 2022. The conference is held virtually and will showcase the work of MAVA and other organizations.
The Conference will provide a multidisciplinary training set to enhance the professional learning by offering beginner, intermediate and advanced sessions in DEI topics of volunteerism. The Conference will provide opportunities for peer-learning with other professionals. The Conference is for informal and professional engagement audiences, including leaders, directors, executives, and volunteer resource staff to increase their knowledge and establish action-oriented DEI goals to implement within their daily lives and the workplace. Our workshops provide true and realistic ways to act and interrupt the systems of inequities.
The Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement (MAVA) inspires excellence in the leadership of volunteers to impact communities. MAVA is a national and statewide multi-sector alliance for volunteer engagement leaders. We unite leaders of volunteers, build capacity for quality and leadership of volunteers, and provide an energetic, respected voice for volunteerism.
