Project Overview

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority (MATA) are carrying out a study to review potential accessibility improvements on the M-Line Trolley route in Dallas. This Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Study will develop multiple scenarios for potential improvements to trolley vehicles and trolley stop locations to improve accessibility for riders using M-Line services.

Thank you for participating in this Survey! Your feedback is essential in helping us understand the experiences, needs, and priorities of trolley riders and community members. The purpose of this survey is to gather input on accessibility of the M-Line Trolley service. Your responses will guide future improvements for the trolley system.

All responses are confidential and will be used to inform the planning study. We appreciate your time and insights!

What does “accessibility” mean?

For this study and this survey, “accessibility” refers to people of all physical abilities being able to safely navigate to trolley stops, board trolley vehicles, move through the vehicle unobstructed, and ride comfortably and securely while in transport. This includes people using wheelchairs or other mobility devices, or with other mobility limitations or disabilities impacting transportation.

For purposes of this survey, “accessibility” is not referring to how close the route or stops are to where you live or to your destination, or to the hours or frequency of service of the M-Line Trolley.
