MARP Nominations 2025

1.President Elect. The President-Elect shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the Board of Directors or the President. In the event of a vacancy in the office of President because of death, resignation or removal, or during the President’s absence or disability, incapacity or refusal to act, as determined by a vote of at least two-thirds of the Board of Directors, the President-Elect shall perform the duties of the President. Please nominate a President Elect.
2.Treasurer. The Treasurer shall have charge and custody of all funds of MARP, shall maintain an accurate accounting system and shall present financial reports, including financial statements, annual budgets and annual audits, to the Board of Directors in such manner and form as the Board may from time to time determine. Responsible for all financial funds of MARP and PayPal account. Provides timely payment and recordkeeping of all expenses and invoices. Annually presents proper records to Accountant for tax preparation. Timely filing of Nonprofit Corporation Annual Registration. Maintains records of Articles of Incorporation and Certificate of Incorporation. Communicates with other Board members pertaining to issues relevant to their financial needs. Maintains storage of all past financial records and Treasurer Reports. Assists with conferences as needed. Please nominate a Treasurer.
3.Legislative Director. Shall be an elected representative, and be responsible for reviewing all pertinent laws and proposed changes in those laws pertaining to providers of rehabilitation and services, and for reporting the results of such activities to the membership. If lobbyists are retained, then the Legislative Director oversees their activities. Please nominate a Legislative Director.
4.Legislative Officer – The Board is exploring the process to add two legislative “officer” positions and would like to hear from anyone interested in this assignment. Please nominate a Legislative Officer.
5.Program Director. Shall be an elected representative and shall be responsible for developing and conducting program sponsored by MARP. In addition, shall oversee the Program Committee with providing relevant educational related materials to the general membership and other interested parties. Please nominate a Program Director.
6.Program Officer - The Board is considering adding a person who would be responsible for web based continuing education content and events. Please indicate your interest in this position. Please nominate a Program Officer.
7.Webmaster/Database Manager Director. Shall be an elected representative and be responsible for maintaining the Marponline.com website and database. Will oversee all aspects of website and maintain communications with company for support needs. Director will be responsible for maintaining the program, event registrations, payment and forms. The position will also be responsible for postings and managing the events, calendars online and webpage maintenance. Provide advice and assistance to membership and program. Please nominate a Webmaster.
8.Communications Officer. Assist Communications Director with social media content and website communications as requested. Please nominate a Communications Officer.
9.Membership Officer. Assist Membership Director with maintaining and supporting current members, member profile accuracy, follow up on renewal on dues and other duties as requested. Responsible to promote MARP membership through outreach, marketing, promotion plans, phone calls, letters, and email to prospective members. Expansion of current membership base to include employers, insurer and other related professionals to the MARP rehabilitation community. Please nominate a Membership Officer.
