Dear Member,

The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry has been following developments in the labour market and it was noted that most businesses are facing labour shortages both in terms of numbers and skills required. For this reason, the organisation decided to carry out a survey with its membership to assess the current situation and forecasts for the next 2 years.

This survey will help the Chamber cross-reference this information with other available data and compare the labour market's current status with future demands. The inputs received will be presented in aggregate form and no private/personal information will be distributed.

At the same time, through our strong collaboration with several entities, the Chamber will in the coming weeks  launch a number of initiatives aimed at assisting you with your recruitment process especially in terms of attracting the right personnel from a number of EU regions.

We therefore, urge you to reply to this short survey by Friday 1st February in order to help us make better representation with the authorities during forthcoming discussions.

For any queries or clarifications, your are kindly asked to contact the Policy Unit of the Malta Chamber on tel.no. 22 032 312 or email address andre.fenech@maltachamber.org.mt
