Auckland to Gold Coast Ocean Race 2021

Expressions of interest are being taken for the proposed offshore ocean yacht race from Auckland, NZ to the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
 
The race is a Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron 150th Anniversary event. The organising authority is The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS), in association with The Southport Yacht Club.
 
The Auckland to Gold Coast Ocean Race 2021 will be a Category One ocean race of approximately 1,270nm starting in Auckland Harbour, New Zealand and finishing in Southport on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia.
 
The proposed start date is Sunday 30th May 2021 (subject to change)
 
Expressions of Interest are sought from a wide range of suitability qualified yachts and crews, both locally and internationally.
 
NOR and Sailing instructions will be released by RNZYS at a later date.
 
RNZYS will be seeking a naming rights sponsor and event sponsors. if you are interested in sponsoring this race, please email: sdance@rnzys.org.nz
 
It is intended that by taking part in the Auckland to Gold Coast Ocean Race you will take the opportunity to take part in other Australian races like the Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island and Magnetic Island Race Weeks in 2021.
