Alabama Dance Census Survey: Dance Organizations

Thank you for taking part in the Alabama Dance Census study being conducted by the Alabama Dance Council, a statewide service organization for dance. Your input is valuable to us, and we appreciate your willingness to take time from your busy schedule. Why is the Alabama Dance Census important?
There is strength in numbers and being connected as a dance community. There is power in having data to tell our story, to advocate, educate, build support, and prove that dance has real impact in our communities. Let's stand together and make our moves count!

How will the data be used?
All data collected will be reported in aggregate form and available as a free report. All sensitive organization data will be kept confidential. Providing this information is optional, or includes a "prefer not to answer" response.

Who can take the organization survey?
The organization survey may be taken by any entity that is active in or interacts with the Alabama dance community (see question #8). The survey should be completed by only one authorized representative that has access to information about that organization.

How long does the survey take?
There are 43 questions that will take approximately 30 minutes for organizations who are not funders. For funders, there are 18 questions that will take approximately 10 minutes.

What happens after the study is completed?
The next step is a Needs Assessment study that will inform future programming, services, and networking for Alabama's dance community.
