Women with Disabilities ACT (WWDACT) is planning a
Neurodivergent Parent Group in Canberra in 2026.
The Neurodivergent Parent Group will run once a month.
We want this Parent Group to be designed by and for neurodivergent adults. This survey will help us understand:
- What topics and speakers people want
- What kinds of events and activities would feel useful and enjoyable
- What access, support and sensory needs people have
- When and where it would be easiest for people to attend
We will use what we learn to
design the Group program, choose a venue, and plan access and supports. We may also use de‑identified information to support future advocacy, funding applications, and resources about adult neurodivergent needs in the ACT.
Who is this survey for?You can complete this survey if you:
- Are a parent/primary caregiver (including if you are pregnant)
- Live in the ACT or surrounding regions, or would consider travelling to Canberra for a Neurodivergent Parent Group.
- Are neurodivergent, think you might be neurodivergent.
You do not need a formal diagnosis to take part.
Information: Some common forms of neurodivergence are Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, and Tourette Syndrome (TS).
We have received funding from the
Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (ACT) to host three Neurodivergent projects:
- Neurodivergent Adult Symposium
- Neurodivergent Parenting Group
- Short Courses for neurodivergent youth aged 16-25
