Project United Volunteer Application |
Join United Way of Central Kentucky for the 6th Annual Project United on August 13, 2015!
Join us on Thursday, August 13th from 8:00am-5:00pm CST for the 6th Annual Project United! Project United is an annual day of service and friendly competition between volunteer teams to see which group can create the most impressive makeover to one room at a local non-profit organization. Each team is given a space to make over and works together to design and plan their project. It is also a chance for teams to foster high morale and take part in some friendly competition with other teams when the before and after pictures of each space are published for the community to vote on. This year, the Grayson County Alliance will be the beneficiary as they begin their move to a new location to continue the work done in the past and expand services to strive for individual self-sufficiency.
The Grayson County Alliance, located in Leitchfield, provides services and programs, such as the Food Pantry, Youth Backpack program, and Repair Affair to Grayson County residents who have a limited access to resources.

The $100 Team Entry Fee will be used to purchase and materials and supplies for the completion of Project United.
