2018 Portland Jazz Festival Weekend Getaway

The 2018 Portland Jazz Festival is February 15-25.  KNKX is giving away a hotel/ticket package for two for the second weekend of the Festival, February 23-25.

Package includes:

--Two-night accommodations at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland, conveniently located in the center of the up-and-coming Lloyd District, within walking distance of the Oregon Convention Center, Moda Center and Portland Memorial Coliseum.

Marcus Roberts Trio & Russell Malone Quartet - Friday, February 23, 7 p.m. at the Newmark Theater
NEA Jazz Master Dr. Lonnie Smith - Friday, February 23, 9:30 p.m. at the Winningstad Theater
Miles Electric Band featuring Christian Scott, Darryl Jones, and Vince Wilburn - Saturday, February 24, 7:30 p.m. at Revolution Hall OR Snarky Puppy, 8 p.m. at the Roseland Theater
Yotam Silberstein, Trio Subtonic with special guest Dan Balmer - Sunday, February 25, 3 p.m. at the Winningstad Theater

There is only one winner and that person will be randomly selected and notified on January 16, 2018.

About the Festival:

The PDX Jazz Festival is a multi-venue series of jazz events presented each February within Portland, Oregon. Nationally and regionally supported as a cultural tourism initiative in celebration of Black History Month, PDX Jazz Festival is dedicated to preserving America’s indigenous art form by presenting internationally recognized jazz masters alongside local jazz musicians. A series of jazz education and outreach programs that extend into Portland’s schools and neighborhoods is at the heart of the annual event.
