In 2018, Lighten Up Lancaster County, the Central Penn Business Group on Health, and LiveWell Lancaster will recognize leaders in workplace wellness with the Well Workplace Awards. There are three options for businesses to earn recognition as a Well Workplace.
Required: To apply to become a Well Workplace, complete the CDC Worksite Health Scorecard, available online at www.cdc.gov/workplacehealthpromotion. The scorecard helps businesses benchmark their wellness offerings against best practice standards. Complete this online survey with basic information about your wellness program and your score from the CDC Scorecard. Based on your score, your business will receive a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum designation. Two platinum businesses will be selected for special recognition at the Lancaster County Health Summit in May.
Optional: Once you complete the basic information, you will then have the opportunity to apply for the Innovation Award or the Impact Award. The innovation award recognizes creative and effective unique approaches to wellness, and the impact award recognizes outstanding measurable results. You can apply for one or both of these awards. We do understand that you may not have access to all information requested. In that case, please leave the question blank.
All winners will be recognized at the annual Health Summit, which will be held on Thursday, May 24 at the Lancaster Convention Center. If selected, companies will be asked to share their successes with other local businesses. To apply, please submit your application by Friday, April 6.
