MAC Annual Opioid Settlement County Reporting Survey |
This form is intended to capture annual reporting information on county opioid settlement funds.
The state of Michigan is slated to receive nearly $1.5 billion from the opioid settlements over 18 years. Fifty percent (50%) of most settlements funds will be sent directly to county and local governments. No-cost technical assistance is available from the Michigan Association of Counties (MAC) and several organizations throughout the state and nationally.
The purpose of this survey is to gauge the following:
· Annual reporting information on county planning for, and utilization of, opioid settlement funds
· Technical assistance needs of each county
Your participation is not required, but is appreciated. Your county may be eligible for a financial incentive for participating in the survey and completing all indicated questions. Questions indicated with an asterisk are required to qualify for incentive payments. While the intention is to provide incentive payments for participation, there are numerous considerations which may delay or prohibit payments. MAC appreciates your patience as we navigate the new settlement landscape and associated processes.
Responses from this survey will allow for annual reporting of planning processes and spending by counties, for purposes of updating MAC’s Opioid Settlement Resource Center dashboard. The information will be shared with county officials and will guide MAC’s technical assistance services. Response to the survey does not obligate your county to participate in these technical assistance offerings.
Responses to the survey will be housed with the Michigan Association of Counties.
This survey is expected to take between 15-20 minutes to complete.
Incentive payments are estimated to pay up to $1,000 per county. Incentives would be made possible by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services with State Opioid Settlement Funds.
