SEIU Healthcare is surveying you because we are approaching a decisive moment for the future of the paramedic profession, and it is important that you have your say.
The Health Professions Regulatory Advisory Council (HPRAC) has been asked to advise Ontario’s Minister of Health and Long-Term Care whether paramedics and emergency medical attendants should be regulated under the Regulated Health Professionals Act, and if so, what would be the appropriate scope of practice, controlled acts and titles authorized to the profession.

HPRAC is seeking input from SEIU Healthcare on these questions, and so your union wants to hear directly from you before we respond.
HPRAC is now seeking input from those who are interested in this issue, and their input will inform the development of our recommendations to the Minister.
