Supporting Impacted Local Governments - Tropical Cyclone Seroja

A large number of Local Governments and their communities in WALGA's Northern Country, Avon-Midland and Great Eastern Zones have been significantly impacted by Tropical Cyclone Seroja.

As these Local Governments move into what will be a long running recovery phase of this emergency, many will require additional support in order to manage the recovery activities as well as deliver business as usual.

WALGA is seeking Expressions of Interest from Local Government staff to assist these Local Governments over the coming months. A wide variety of skill sets will be required, including rates and finance skills, emergency management, community development, environmental health, building surveying, administration and others.
