It allows local, regional, and national artists to exhibit work (for sale) to broaden their reach, expand their network, and potentially be added to private and public collections of artworks. Augusta has joined the ranks of cities like Atlanta, Savannah, Asheville, and Charlotte who see rotating public arts exhibitions. Creating a space for artists to exhibit and sell their works is what makes Augusta an arts destination. It allows for visitors and residents to experience artwork they may never have the chance to see.
