The purpose of this online survey is to collect information on the many and varied ways in which the Most Significant Changes (MSC)technique is being used around the world, as of October 2008
The people who have been asked to participate in this survey are the 900+ members of the MSC email list, at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MostSignificantChanges/
The survey results will be available to all the members of the MSC email list, so they can learn from each other's experiences.
We also plan to make use of the survey results when planning further MSC training events. MSC training events need to be continually informed by the latest information on how MSC is being used in different parts of the world
So, please be as open and honest with your answers as possible, so we can all learn!
The survey is asking about:
- the types of organisations using MSC
- the types of settings in which MSC is being used
- the types of changes being identified by MSC
- the reasons why MSC is being used
- the reasons why MSC is no longer being used
- how MSC has been adapted and improved to suit local circumstances
- the kinds of problems that have been experienced
- the benefits gained from using MSC
The collated results of the survey are available here. The results are updated every time there is a new survey participant.
This survey has been organised by Rick Davies, editor of MandE NEWS. For more information contact Rick at firstname.lastname@example.org
The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete. You can return later and make changes to your answers, it is not an exam! Your answers will be anonymous, unless you want to allow interested people to make contact with you. The survey has two sections, for different categories of people. Your answer to the question below will direct you to the appropriate section. If you think you belong to both categories, choose the category that you think fits best.
