Chamber member consultation on the Airlie Beach Master Plan
Airlie Beach Master Plan – Business Feedback Survey
The Whitsunday Regional Council has released its draft Airlie Beach Master Plan for public consultation. Learn more and view the concept designs on the Council’s website.
The Chamber will be making a formal submission and public statement on behalf of the local business community — and to do that, we need your input.
This short survey takes less than 10 minutes and gives you a chance to share how the proposed changes might impact your business.
We’ve tailored this survey specifically for local business priorities. You’re also welcome to complete Council’s full survey separately.
📅 Survey closes Wednesday 13 August 2025
Key proposals in the draft Master Plan include: • A revitalised main street and beachfront • Expanded event and civic spaces • Improved pedestrian and cycle connections • Better access to Port of Airlie and public transport • Upgraded Lagoon Plaza, Market Grounds and Coconut Grove • Improved wayfinding signage, lighting and public amenities
