City of Utica Survey

The City of Utica was awarded $4.5 million through the NY Forward Program to support the continued investment in Uptown Utica. This program requires Utica to engage in a planning process to determine how the funds can best contribute to Utica Uptown’s continued momentum toward a stronger, more vibrant Uptown.

The map of the tentative NY Forward Area focuses on the core areas believed to be the best areas to activate the Uptown with a variety of mixed uses and renewed opportunities for local businesses and may change with the planning process.
