UConn SOM CLIC Program Class of 2029

Welcome to the UConn SOM!

During your first three years of medical school, you will spend a half day each week with a community physician preceptor who works in a Primary Care (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics) or subspecialty office. This allows you to apply what you're learning in basic science classes in an actual medical practice under a physician preceptor’s supervision. This program uses the acronym "CLIC" and stands for Clinical Longitudinal Immersion in the Community.
For our office to begin the matching process, you will need to complete the below tasks in the following order:
  1. Log in to HuskyCT and navigate to the UConn SOM CLIC Course for the Class of 2029.
  2. Watch and complete the interactive CLIC presentation (approximately 15–20 minutes).
  3. After viewing the presentation and gaining a clear understanding of the CLIC program, please complete the survey linked below.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Students begin CLIC around the third week of medical school. We're looking forward to meeting you in a few weeks!

Please complete the presentation in HuskyCT and the survey no later than Friday, July 11th.

Thank you,
Dr. Jaclyn Jaeger, Jenn Foster & Rasy Mar
