Lyon County, the Cities of Fernley and Yerington, fire protection districts, and other participating entities are currently in the process of updating the Lyon County regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The regional Hazard Mitigation Plan is a tool for the community to prioritize projects that will draw down the risk for emergencies and disasters.
