Thank you for your interest in our study to investigate listening ability. We appreciate your time and willingness to help with this important research. Listening comprehension is essential to learning and to developing literacy skills. The information learned through this study will help support educators in reliably assessing listening comprehension and developing strategies to improve students’ listening skills.

Study Details
  • Students (grades 1-12) take a one-time listening test online (about 30 minutes).
  • Online listening test must be administered between Feb. 18 and March 19, 2019.
  • Necessary permissions must be obtained according to school/district policy.
  • Each teacher whose class participates will receive a $75 gift card (Amazon/Barnes and Noble).
