One in six Australians are affected by hearing loss, and nearly 4 million nationwide. By 2050, that number is forecast to reach one in four Australians, making it more prevalent than asthma, heart disease, cancer or diabetes. Ability Links Hunter Central Coast has partnered with the Deafness Forum of Australia, Hear For You, Word of Mouth, and Deaf Children Australia, to find out more about what is available and needed in our communities.
