International Survey on Lessons learned from COVID-19 Pandemic; Blood Bank and Transfusion Service perspective
Dear Colleagues,
This survey aims to gather information on blood and CCP supply challenges globally and to document lessons learned for blood establishments and blood services. The information gained will benefit the transfusion community for better preparation of future pandemics.
Those who fully complete the survey will be acknowledged as contributors or named as co-authors in any resulting publications based on the degree of completion and amount of information provided. Information collected will be confidential and password protected. Only de-identified collated information will be shared at scientific meetings or in medical journals.
This survey has the following components. Questions are tailored based on the type of facility you work in.
For blood establishments: I. Blood Supply II.COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma (CCP) Collection
For transfusion services: III. Blood inventory & demand IV. COVID-19 Convalescent plasma (CCP) transfusion
For Both: V. Operational Challenges
The survey should not take longer than 30 minutes to complete. For optimum flexibility, you will be able to leave, come back and edit your answers any time before submitting the survey.
