Catholic Climate Conversations Application Form

Thank you for your interest in the Catholic Youth Climate Conversations!

In his encyclical, Laudato Si, Pope Francis affirmed the truth that, “The climate is a common good belonging to and meant for all.” But young people like you have the greatest stake in our churches and schools addressing climate change. We are seeking young people to share their voices to help the Archdiocese take next steps to care for our Common Home. Your participation will result in the creation of materials that will be used by schools and parishes throughout the Archdiocese. Make your voice heard!

Current 9th-11th grade Catholic youth are invited to apply. The Catholic Youth Climate Conversations will take place over two sessions. Participation in both sessions is strongly encouraged but not required. The first session will be held on April 26th, 2026 from 12-6pm, location to be confirmed (we'll know soon!). Our first session will conclude with mass at 5pm, which parents are invited to attend. The second session is tentatively scheduled for September or October 2026. Before applying, please confirm that you are able to participate on April 26th.

After we receive your application, we will reach out to your parent/guardian listed in this form to confirm you have their permission to participate. Applications received on or before March 27th will receive priority consideration. You will be notified if you have been accepted to participate no later than April 3rd.

If you have questions about the application process, please contact Dr. Elizabeth Corrie at ecorrie@emory.edu or call 404-727-2917.
