We recognize that the experiences and opportunities of Latina girls are uniquely different from their peers in many ways. We don’t want to guess what those different experiences are. We want to learn from you! We also know that adults often underestimate the wisdom young people have to offer and we value your voice!
LifeSmart Youth is conducting a series of Latina Girls Matter Listening Sessions for Latina females between the ages of 12-24. We are curious about your experience with accessing health care, reproductive health care, and your path to sexual health. We define sexual health as the state of physical, mental, and social well-being in relation to sexuality. Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination, and violence. You can create a better path for you and those that come behind you.
