The Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development (JAFSCD) has formed a Latine Editorial Circle to focus on creating more publishing opportunities for Latine scholars and activists working on land access, labor, entrepreneurship, and food security and broader topics related to food systems important for Latine communities. JAFSCD recognizes that Latine (i.e., Latino/a, Latinx, or Hispanic) communities have unique opportunities and challenges related to food systems, including but not limited to farming livelihoods, land access, food security, and labor exploitation. Moreover, institutional researchers and professionals as well as community-based organizations have much to contribute to Latine food system research, policy, and practice. JAFSCD believes and asserts that traditional and ancestral knowledge, together with multiple lived experiences, need to be part of broader conversations on how to improve the conditions in Latine communities throughout the world.
The Latine Editorial Circle invites you to share your experience and interest in publishing your work. The survey is anonymous unless you choose to share contact details with us at the end of the survey. It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Thank you for your valuable input!
