Lake County - Broadband Availability, Access and Adoption - Business Survey

Lake County is working on a Broadband Master Plan Update and Broadband Implementation Plan, which seek to expand broadband Internet availability, accessibility and adoption in our area to transform businesses through enhanced access to broadband services and technology, device assistance and training. However, several factors need to be considered when doing this, such as: Are businesses in Lake County currently able to leverage broadband?; Are current processes and procedures able to incorporate effective use of broadband?; and, If not, what are the issues that need to be resolved? 

To be successful, the County needs to have a fuller understanding of how businesses in the County are using or would like to use broadband, and the barriers and challenges that they face in obtaining and integrating broadband into everyday operations.  In order to do that, the County is engaging in this survey effort.

Please share with us your attitudes, opinions, needs and interests as they relate to broadband availability, access and adoption in the County.  Your thoughts and experience will be extremely helpful in crafting a Broadband Implementation Plan to create greater and more fruitful broadband opportunities for businesses throughout the County.
