The RDEK is beginning a review and update of the Lake Windermere Official Community Plan (OCP), which was adopted in 2008. An OCP is a long term, strategic planning document that guides land use planning and decision making by the RDEK.
Because there is already an OCP in place, this review and update will begin with some questions that may seem very specific. These specific questions are meant to gauge the relevance of existing policies and to determine what direction the community would like to move towards on certain land use issues.
Your feedback will help us understand what land use issues and preferences are important to you. This information, along with upcoming community workshops and open houses, will inform the update to the Lake Windermere OCP.
The survey should take 15 to 20 minutes to complete and your responses are confidential.
