Lake County Opioid Settlement Planning Survey

Lake County is receiving opioid settlement dollars over the next 18 years from the National Opioid Settlement. We value your input in helping us determine how the county should spend this funding. Please take a few minutes and complete the survey to share your opinion.

Prevention: Fund programs and strategies designed to prevent drug or alcohol misuse, including family and youth programs that promote healthy behavior.
Drug Take Back and Storage: Expand drug take-back programs to allow unused medications to be returned to any pharmacy and distribute safe storage containers for at-home use.
Training: Provide training for professionals such as teachers, law enforcement, and families to help them respond to drug or alcohol misuse.
Connections to treatment and services: Expand resources to help connect people who need services to treatment and other supports.
Support for individuals involved in the justice system: Expand access to treatment and support services for people who have been arrested as a result of their substance use.
Overdose prevention: Increase support for people who have overdosed on drugs and/or people who are at risk of overdosing.
Family Support: Support services for children and families impacted by alcohol or drug misuse.
