About This Project
The Town of Lake Luzerne is updating its Zoning Code, Official Zoning Map, and Subdivision Regulations — the first major update since 1983. This project is funded through the New York State Department of State Smart Growth Grant Program and builds directly on the priorities identified in the Town’s 2023 Comprehensive Plan. The goal of the project is to craft regulations that reflect Lake Luzerne’s values, support sustainable growth, and remove unnecessary barriers for residents and property owners.

This survey focuses on ten key topics that the project team has identified as priorities for the updated code. Your responses will help the Zoning Advisory Committee and Town Board understand community priorities, guide where we focus our efforts, and shape the approach we take on each issue.
