Progress in Implementation of the 2015-2020 Gender Plan of Action under the Convention on Biological
In decision 14/18, the Conference of the Parties requested the Executive Secretary, subject to availability of resources, to undertake a review of the implementation of the 2015-2020 Gender Plan of Action, in parallel to the development of the fifth edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook and the second edition of the Local Biodiversity Outlooks, in order to identify gaps, best practices and lessons learned.
To contribute to this review, the Secretariat has prepared the following survey for Parties, organizations and other relevant stakeholders to provide input on the progress and effectiveness in the implementation of the 2015-2020 Gender Plan of Action. The last section of the survey includes questions as to the structure of a post-2020 gender plan of action or strategy, in line with the mandate for a gender-responsive process to develop the post-2020 global biodiversity framework in decision 14/34.
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes and should be submitted by 20 December 2019. While filling in the survey you can go back to any of your answers until you press the “submit” button.
Your input is requested to support a comprehensive review of the implementation of the 2015-2020 Gender Plan of Action and help initiate discussions on the structure and scope of a post-2020 gender plan of action or strategy.
