LARP Directory - Australia Survey

This directory is for Of Science & Swords and Epic Armoury Australia to promote different LARP and battle groups to our customer base - both in store and at trade events.

If you are interested in gaining more players to your group, please complete this form to be included in the directory. Directory listings will be arranged by state and given out freely to interested parties. If you are a private group by invite only and do not want more players, this is not relevant to you.

Being included in this directory will also let you know of other LARP groups if you want to contact each other for cross-group battles or special events.

Story-line LARP - the role play is the focus (LARP weapons)

Combat LARP - there is role play, but the combat is the focus (LARP weapons)

Battlesport - there may be costuming and theatrics, but it's primarily a full contact battle game (LARP weapons)

Parlour LARP - role play is the purpose, any combat is very specific to an aspect of the story and the plot.

Society for Creative Anachronisms group - established world with ongoing international guidelines (steel swords &/or wasters)

Historical European Martial Arts group or equivalent - realistic fighting styles (steel swords &/or wasters)

Historical Medieval Combat - full contact heavy fighting (steel swords &/or wasters)

Theatrical LARP Group - LARP is a means of choreographing for viewing by an audience

Historical Reenactment - focus on historical realism
